Update: This game is the only regular-season meeting between the last-place clubs. D.C. United won the teams’ only meeting last year, 1-0, in Washington. Chivas USA’s top scorer so far this year is forward Erick Torres, with six goals. But the club recently acquired another forward, Matthew Fondy, a native of Foster City, Calif., from the L.A. Blues of the USL Pro soccer league.
