Loyola Will Open Trip Tonight at Brooklyn College

Loyola Marymount, which beat Southern California College, 116-101, Monday night, will begin a two-game trip with a nonconference game tonight against Brooklyn College of the East Coast Athletic Conference.
The Lions (5-1), who are led by guard Chris Nikchevich and forward Mike Yoest, play Loyola of Chicago on Friday.
Nikchevich had 21 points and 13 assists Monday. Yoest, Loyola’s leading scorer, had 22 points.
The Lions return to the Southland to play at Cal State Fullerton Dec. 23. Loyola’s next home game is against Loyola of Maryland Dec. 29.
