STATISTICAL WATCH : A Triple Double, a 20-20 Sight and a Block Party

Danny Enowitz recorded a triple-double for Grant in a win over Sylmar last Friday. Enowitz, a senior guard, had 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. . . . Stuart Sayre, Canyon’s all-time leading rebounder, had 20 points and 20 rebounds against Quartz Hill . . . Faith Baptist sophomore center Jason Henderson had 16 blocked shots in two games last week.

Scoring: Cleveland’s five starters all average between nine and 12 points a game. Albert Fann is the team leader (11.9), followed by Andre Anderson (11.8), Adrian King (10.4), Damon Greer (10.0) and Richard Branham (9.3). . . . In a win over Chatsworth last week, Granada Hills scored half of its 56 points in the first quarter and scored only two in the second quarter.

Girls basketball: Sylmar’s Keri Rincon scored a school-record 30 points against Verdugo Hills. She also had eight rebounds. Rio Mesa guard Mitsie O’Brien had 17 points in a loss to Santa Barbara and 21 points in a win over Hueneme last week to increase her school record for career points to 870. . . . Laura Kirkpatrick, a 5-8 junior, is averaging 17 points and 10 rebounds per game for Buckley. . . . Campbell Hall has outscored opponents, 186-61, in its last three games.
