Dodgers Need Changes Starting at Very Top

The Los Angeles Dodgers once again: Lead the majors in fewest runs scored, lead the majors in most errors made, are at the bottom of the National League in team batting average, lead the majors with most people on the disabled list, suffer with Mike Marshall’s mysterious injuries, fill the lineup with minor leaguers, treat Los Angeles fans to some of the worst playing in baseball today and give no support to their pitchers.

If Walter O’Malley were alive today, you would have never seen this type of Dodger team. Peter O’Malley is no chip off his father’s shoulder. For the team to be a champion again, a change in the staff all the way down the line is in order. Tom Lasorda should be moved to promotion.

Mike Marshall, Phil Garner, Mariano Duncan, Ken Landreaux and Rick Honeycutt should go on the trading block, especially Marshall, who is probably the biggest prima donna in the major leagues today. I don’t envy any team that picks up Marshall, because the morale of the team will go down the tubes real fast.
