Harvard 28 Pater Noster 10--Harvard expanded a 7-3 halftime lead with three touchdowns in the third quarter to keep Pater Noster winless. Harvard (4-5) is 3-2 in Santa Fe League play. Pater Noster dropped to 0-5, 0-9.
Harvard was led by Martin Holly, the tailback in the team’s single-wing formation. He rushed for 169 yards and a touchdown in 24 carries. Harvard attempted only three passes, Holly completing one for two yards.
Timothy Naud started the third-period scoring, rushing for two 11-yard touchdowns in a two-minute span. James Colee accounted for the third touchdown on a 42-yard interception return.
Holly’s 30-yard touchdown run in the first quarter gave Harvard a 7-0 lead.
The Harvard defense held Pater Noster to minus-25 yards rushing and 69 yards in total offense.
Pater Noster quarterback Robert Rivera completed 12 of 18 passes for 94 yards and a touchdown, which came on a 7-yard pass to Rudy Aguilar with a minute left.
