Poly 13, Verdugo Hills 7--Poly quarterback Jason Kemp’s 30-yard run set up Tony Ayala’s 5-yard touchdown with 7:15 to play to snap a 7-7 tie at Poly.

Verdugo Hills moved the ball to the Poly 2-yard line with 1:30 remaining, but the drive ended when quarterback Lewis Rodriguez’s fumble was recovered by Poly’s Harold Whiteside.
