Titans Finish Second in Wrestling Meet

David Jones and Michael Grubbs of Cal State Fullerton won individual titles Sunday as the Titans finished second in the team competition of the Southern California Invitational wrestling tournament.

Jones won at heavyweight with a 19-8 decision over Chuck Weaver of Notre Dame. At 118 pounds, Grubbs defeated Gary D’Agostino of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, 12-10.

Notre Dame won the team title with 114.25 points. Fullerton was second at 109.75 and Fresno State was third (103.50).
