Estancia Players Lead County Golf All-Stars

Ken Calvert and Austin Maki of two-time Southern Section team champion Estancia High School will lead the South team in the Orange County all-star golf tournament Thursday at the Santa Ana Country Club.
The tournament, which begins at 1:30 p.m. and is sponsored in part by the Southern California PGA, will feature 16 of the county’s top seniors.
The rest of the South team roster is Scott Auerbach of Irvine, Jason Boyd of San Clemente, Gene Choi of Laguna Hills, Steve Dana of Corona del Mar, Tom Haren of Dana Hills and David Jacobson of University.
The North team roster: Pete Gimino of Esperanza, Steve Greenfield of Canyon, Gregg Lee of Capistrano Valley, Kengo Takahashi and Chris Tidland of Valencia, Jon Reinke of Western, Jason VanderSteen of Servite and Jim Zakhar of El Toro.
Art and Chuck Perry of Estancia will coach the South team and Valencia’s John Winek will coach the North.
