Woodland Hills Team Wins Section Title

Jon Relles pounded his fourth home run in three games Wednesday, helping Woodland Hills Sunrise defeat Thousand Oaks, 5-4, in the state Section 1 Little League baseball finals for all-star players aged 11-12.

Relles hit the two-run shot in the fourth inning, giving Woodland Hills a 5-2 advantage.

Woodland Hills advances to the eight-team Southern California Division tournament to be held Aug. 4-9 at Stearns and Heartwell parks in Long Beach.
