Rancho Santiago 43, Orange Coast 15--Estrus Crayton, playing a little more than one half, ran for 121 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Dons at Orange Coast College.

Crayton, a sophomore tailback, surpassed the 2,000-yard mark in his career when he scored on an 11-yard run in the first quarter. He also scored on runs of 15, 22 and three yards. Crayton has 724 yards this season, and 2,064 yards in his career.

Crayton’s four touchdowns raised his conference-leading total to 17. He had 20 last season and has scored 230 points in his 16-game career.

“It was a very typical night for him,” Rancho Santiago Coach Dave Ogas said. “He’s just an amazing kid.”

Orange Coast (4-2, 2-2) did its part to make things even easier for Rancho Santiago (4-2, 2-2) by turning the ball over eight times. The first five were fumbles and the next three interceptions.

Dave Spoolstra had an interception and recovered a fumble, Justin Mills, Richard Valenzuela, and Scott Strini recovered fumbles and Gary Bladow and Scott McMahon got interceptions.
