Point Loma’s leading scorer, Stacey Wainwright, picked up her fourth foul with three minutes left in the first half, and a minute later point guard Lisa Griego left the game briefly because of illness.

“We just came out really flat,” Point Loma Coach Shannon Anderson said. “Torrey Pines put on full-court pressure and crashed the boards. They were aggressive, and they were the better ball club tonight.”

Castle Park 63, University City 47--Erika Ockert led fourth-ranked Castle Park (22-4) with 20 points. Christina Murguia, the county’s leading scorer, added 18. The Trojans will play top-seeded El Cajon Valley in Wednesday’s semifinals.
