Fullerton Signs Forward From L.A. City College

Marcus Nash, a 6-foot-4 forward from Los Angeles City College, has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Cal State Fullerton, Titan Coach John Sneed said.

Nash, a Los Angeles Dorsey High School graduate, had signed with Hawaii after the 1989-90 season but failed to complete his Associate of Arts degree requirements.

He remained at L.A. City this year, sitting out the basketball season, to finish his community college degree and will be eligible at Fullerton next season.

Nash, who averaged 23.9 points and nine rebounds at L.A. City in 1989-90, is a 215-pound swing player who is very strong and athletic. “He has a good jumper and can play inside and outside,” said Sneed, who recruited Nash last year.
