Saugus High’s Josh Noland capped a three-run rally with two out in the seventh inning when he scored on a wild pitch that gave the host Centurions a 4-3 win over Quartz Hill in a Golden League game Tuesday. The win enabled Saugus (12-7, 8-4 in league play) to remain in a first-place tie with Palmdale (11-6, 8-4).

Saugus trailed, 3-1, and its first two hitters were retired in the seventh. But pinch-hitter Chris Hernandez walked, Jayme Riggio walked, and both runners advanced on a wild pitch.

Noland, who hit his fourth home run in the first, was intentionally walked and Kyle Lonsberry followed with a two-run double that tied the score, 3-3. Noland, who was two for three, then scored on a wild pitch.
