PREP ROUNDUP : Corona del Mar Advances in Water Polo

Robbie Pike’s 10 saves helped Corona del Mar High School to a 6-4 victory over Coronado in the quarterfinals of the North Orange County water polo tournament at Tustin High.
Austin Weir led the Sea Kings with two goals. Corona del Mar plays Capistrano Valley at 4 p.m today at Fullerton’s Independence Park in the semifinals.
In other quarterfinal games:
Capistrano Valley 9, Sunny Hills 3--Jeremy Braxton-Brown scored four goals as Capistrano Valley advanced.
In the consolation round:
El Dorado 10, Fountain Valley 8--Mikel Reta scored five goals and Jason Gall added three for the Hawks in a consolation third-round victory.
