Former Edison High shooting guard Joan Paje, whose women’s basketball scholarship offer from Cal State Dominguez Hills was revoked because of budget cuts, will play this year for Cypress College.
Paje, a Times All-Orange County, second-team selection, averaged 19.3 points, shot 35.7% (56 of 157) from three-point range and made 73.8% (104 of 141) of her free throws.
Paje’s 154 career three-pointers ranks second on Orange County’s all-time list, one behind Los Alamitos’ Cindy Yamasaki (155).
