Riverside 58, Fullerton 54--Audrey McMurry and Virginia Vaioletama had 18 each for visiting Riverside (22-9, 5-4). Carrie Glodt and Nikki Clark had 12 each for Fullerton (18-12, 6-3).
Cypress 79, Saddleback 46--Sara Works had 28 points and Jennifer Johnson added 18 for visiting Cypress (21-8, 6-4). Saddleback is 7-15, 2-8.
In the Cypress Mitsubishi baseball tournament:
Cypress 10, Santa Monica 2--Freshman designated hitter Jack Peck went five for five, including a home run, three runs batted in and two runs scored for Cypress (3-1).
Golden West 7, College of the Desert 6--Golden West scored five runs in the first inning, on its way to a first-round victory.
Garrett Vitale went three-for-four with a double and a triple, and relief pitcher Adam Hoyman earned the victory for the Rustlers (4-2).
