Rain Forces Postponement of Several Games

Thursday’s rain forced the postponement of a number of high school and community college events.
On the high school level, the Southern Section Division II boys’ soccer playoff game between Capistrano Valley and Santa Ana Valley was moved to 3 p.m. today at Santa Ana Stadium.
The Southern Section Division I wild-card girls’ soccer game between Dana Hills and Newport Harbor was rescheduled for 3:15 p.m. today at Newport Harbor.
On the community college level, Orange Coast’s first-round baseball game against San Mateo in the Hancock tournament will be played at 2 p.m. today. The OCC men’s tennis match at Southwestern has been rescheduled for March 1. And OCC’s softball game against San Bernardino was postponed with no new date set.
The Golden West men’s tennis match against San Diego Mesa will be made up at 2 p.m. today and its track meet was rescheduled to April 1.
