Dana Hills’ Grossman Will Attend Harvard

Karun Grossman, a first-team Times Orange County girls’ basketball player, said she plans to attend Harvard in the fall.
Grossman made 62 three-point baskets last year and averaged 23.5 points for Dana Hills. She has a 4.25 grade-point average.

Derrick Walsh, sophomore guard for the Saddleback College men’s basketball team, has signed a letter of intent with Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D., the school announced Thursday.
Walsh, who averaged 14 points, helped the Gauchos reach the State regional final.
He received a full scholarship to Augustana, an NCAA Division II school.

Laura Minard, leading hitter for the Golden West softball team with a .321 average, has signed a letter of intent to attend Miami (Ohio).
