Crescenta Valley 7, Hoover 7--Mike Dely completed 11 of 15 passes for 103 yards, but Crescenta Valley (5-2-1, 1-1-1) could only manage a tie against Hoover (3-3-2, 0-2-1) at Glendale High.

Hoover’s Welser Maltez also had a productive night, completing five of six passes for 106 yards, including a 65-yard completion to Mark Rigil.

Crescenta Valley rushed for 173 yards. Falcon tailback Kenneth Pritchett gained 88 yards in 21 carries, including a three-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.
