DIVISION I

Woodbridge (19-4) at Santa Barbara (20-1), 3:15 p.m.

The top-seeded Dons have won eight consecutive section titles and 10 of the past 11. They are led by singles players Sam Adam Webster and Ian Carrera and the doubles team of Travis Logue and Jason Yardi. Fifth-seeded Woodbridge rebounded from an 8-4 deficit against Beverly Hills Tuesday to win, 9-9 (84-75 in games). But the Warriors won’t be able to recover from that kind of deficit against Santa Barbara. If they are to pull off the upset, they will need career-best days from singles players Chase Exon, Adam Artunian and Reza Farokhpay. Because of Santa Barbara’s doubles strength, Woodbridge probably will need five points from its singles players.

Palos Verdes Peninsula (20-1) at Corona del Mar (19-2), 3 p.m.

Second-seeded Peninsula won the regular-season meeting, 10-8. It took seven of nine doubles sets. Since then, Corona del Mar has improved its doubles. Coach Tim Mang has moved No. 3 singles player John Cappello to doubles to team with Raj Shukla. Cappello and Shukla swept their three sets in Corona del Mar’s 13-5 quarterfinal victory over Dana Hills. Boris Turkich, the Sea Kings’ No. 2 singles player, has also been playing doubles because of a sore back but he is healthy enough to play singles now. Peninsula is led by singles players Chris Lee and Tim Marsh. It reached the semifinals with a 15-3 victory over Diamond Bar. The last time Corona del Mar and Peninsula met in the playoffs was 1993. Peninsula won, 11-7, in the Division I semifinals at Corona del Mar.

DIVISION II

North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake (20-2) vs. Sunny Hills (17-4), Sunny Hills Racquet Club, 2:30 p.m.

Top-seeded Harvard-Westlake knocked off Sunny Hills last year on games in the semifinals. “They’ve been a very sound team,” Sunny Hills Coach Steve White said. “They don’t have a superstar, but their team is deep.” Westlake defeated Glendale, 12-6, to reach the semifinals. Sunny Hills has had a season filled with injuries, but the Lancers have come together in the last week and they played their best match of season Tuesday in a 13-5 quarterfinal victory over University. “Our big thing now is to get that same intensity we had Tuesday and play that same type of tennis,” White said. “Sometimes that’s tough to do two matches in a row.”

Other game:

Palm Desert (18-5) at San Marino (18-4), 3:15 p.m.
