At six feet, Horak is an intimidating figure on the court and utilizes both power and finesse to keep opponents off balance. The No. 1 singles player on a talented Westlake team, Horak is ranked 19th among 16-year-olds by the Southern California Tennis Assn.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Horak swept all nine of her sets in matches against Thousand Oaks, Santa Barbara and Channel Islands to extend her season winning streak to 23 sets. She lost just two games in those nine sets, including a 6-1, 6-0, 6-0 sweep against Santa Barbara--the second-ranked team in Southern Section Division I.
