On the team for the third year in a row, Freed pitched nine no-hitters and five perfect games--the latter a section-tying single-season record--and is The Times player of the year. She also led the county in strikeouts (263). Her performance at the plate (.362, 16 RBIs) also played a critical role in Pacifica winning its first section championship.
