The Zuma Bay girls’ volleyball club will hold tryouts on Nov. 9 and Nov. 16 at Thousand Oaks High.

Age 14 and under is from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.; Age 16 and under is from 1:45 to 4:15 p.m.; age 18 and under is from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

* Information on how to qualify for a college tennis scholarship will be provided on Dec. 7 at a 5 p.m. meeting at UCLA’s Los Angeles Tennis Center in the Straus Clubhouse.

* The 10th annual Pepperdine Golf Tournament is set for Nov. 24 at North Ranch Country Club.

Included in the $375 fee is a clinic with Senior PGA Tour member Al Geiberger, father of Pepperdine Coach John Geiberger, an 18-hole best ball shotgun tournament and a dinner and awards presentation with former Waves’ All-American Jason Gore.

All proceeds benefit student scholarships at the university.
