Cal State Northridge Falls to Hawaii
Tim Carey passed for 328 yards, Quincy Jacobs of Thousand Oaks High scored two touchdowns and the Hawaii defense accounted for another 10 points Saturday night and the Rainbows defeated Cal State Northridge, 34-21, at Honolulu.
Aaron Flowers completed 22 of 39 passes for 311 yards and two touchdowns for the Matadors (1-1), but his third-quarter fumble was returned 32 yards for a touchdown to give Hawaii (2-0) a 24-14 lead. Aaron Arnold had eight receptions for 118 yards for Northridge, while Mike Ogas had a 75-yard touchdown catch.
