In other Golden West League games:

Santa Ana 81, Westminster 61--Rene Cabrerea scored 25 points to lead Santa Ana (8-11, 1-2).

Servite 60, Saddleback 47--Rafael Vielonka scored 10 of his game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter for Servite, which led at halftime, 25-14. Steve Shea added 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Friars (13-4, 3-0).

In the Century League:

Santa Ana Valley 44, No. 6 Canyon 39--Santa Ana Valley’s zone defense in the fourth quarter forced turnovers and allowed the Falcons to pull off an upset.

Koa Bartlett had 11 points for Santa Ana Valley (5-11, 1-1).

Drew Gaulden scored 20 points for Canyon (13-4, 0-2).

Villa Park 60, Orange 42--Justin Haney, who recently transferred from Canyon, scored 16 points and Alan Verzani had 18 points and 14 rebounds for Villa Park (12-5, 2-0).

In the Empire League:

Kennedy 40, Cypress 39--Rickey Crowder put back Ryan Smith’s miss with one second remaining to lift Kennedy (10-8, 1-1). Crowder had a team-high 10 points.

Loara 62, No. 8 Katella 47--Martin Banda, who had 15 rebounds, scored 25 points and went 11 for 13 from the foul line in Loara’s upset victory. Mike Eshelman contributed 16 points for the Saxons (14-4, 1-1). Katella falls to 16-2, 1-1.

In the Freeway League:

No. 10 Troy 68, Sunny Hills 32--Jerry Inzunza led Troy with 25 points. Erick Hardeman led Sunny Hills with 10 points.

Fullerton 49, Buena Park 47--Michael Bridgeford stole the ball with less than 20 seconds remaining in the game and drove to make the winning layup for Fullerton (7-10, 1-1). Akachi Azubike led Fullerton with 11 points and Mike Sailhamer added 10. Nick Hankins led Buena Park (8-9, 0-2) with 13 points.

In the Garden Grove League:

Los Amigos 47, La Quinta 34--John Valenzuela scored 16 points and Alvaro Arcos added 10 for Los Amigos. The Lobos are 5-13, 2-2.

In the Orange League:

Savanna 75, Anaheim 66--Will King scored 29 points and Mark Watson added 15 for Savanna (7-10, 1-0).

In the Sea View League:

No. 1 Santa Margarita 72, Newport Harbor 32--Dekeer McKeever scored 15 points and had nine rebounds for Santa Margarita. T.J. Williams scored 14 points and had nine assists for the Eagles (17-0, 2-0). Ryan Forehan-Kelly had 14 points for Santa Margarita.

Gary Robinson scored 11 points for Newport Harbor (11-7, 0-2).

Woodbridge 64, El Toro 63 (OT)--Scott Barlow hit a three-pointer with two seconds left to win the game in overtime for Woodbridge (10-8, 1-1). The Warriors escaped defeat in regulation when Gavin Lindstrom hit a three-pointer with 11 seconds left to tie the score at 55-55.

In the South Coast League:

No. 7 Mater Dei 73, Mission Viejo 63--Mike Bayer scored 17 points and Derek Mansell added 16 for Mater Dei, which led at halftime, 37-28. Steve Scoggin added 15 points for the Monarchs (10-4, 2-0). Francis Ireifej scored 15 points for Mission Viejo (6-11, 0-2).

In the Sunset League:

Edison 63, Esperanza 53--Daniel Nehrig scored 18 points and Hwan Min added 11 for Edison, which trailed at halftime, 24-23. The Chargers are 10-5, 2-0.

Huntington Beach 58, Marina 47--Eric Ho scored 19 points to lead Huntington Beach (6-11, 1-1), which led at the half, 32-28. John Davidson added 14 points and eight rebounds for the Oilers. Marina (8-10, 1-1) was led by Dustin Kaatz with 12 points.
