Birmingham 14, Reseda 0--Howard Jones rushed for 117 yards in 23 carries and scored on runs of seven and 10 yards for the Patriots (1-2) at Reseda.
Reseda (1-2) suffered when quarterback Skyler McKnight left the game early in the first quarter with a leg injury and did not return. Backup Carlos Hernandez completed four of 14 passes for 65 yards.
Birmingham’s ground game was boosted by running back Joe Herkelrath, who rushed for 90 yards in 13 carries.
Eddie Robinson of Reseda rushed for 91 yards in 16 carries.
