Santa Clara 34, St. Genevieve 0--Terrance Dotsy blocked a St. Genevieve punt two minutes into the game to set up a 16-yard touchdown run by Danny Chaparro on the Saints’ first play from scrimmage at Channel Islands.
Chaparro, a junior, also had touchdown runs of 43 and 20 yards and rushed for 105 yards in 11 carries.
Santa Clara (2-1) rushed for 167 yards with no turnovers.
