Mission Viejo won its third consecutive game, cruising to a 38-28 South Coast League victory over Capistrano Valley Friday night at Capistrano Valley High.

Mission Viejo Coach Bob Johnson was pleased with the performance of the Diablos (3-4, 2-0 in league).

“We just keep getting better and better and I’m really proud of the way the kids have bounced back,” Johnson said. “Our offensive line did a great job tonight and that really helped us get in the end zone.”
