Buena 64, Royal 31--Kelly Greathouse had 22 points and Courtney Young 12 for the Bulldogs (6-0), who shot 23 free throws to the Highlanders’ 10 in a nonleague game at Buena.

Ashley Alderton scored 16 points for Royal (7-2).

Chaminade 68, Immaculate Heart 34--Christina Zdenek scored 23 points for the Eagles in a nonleague victory at Chaminade.

Amy Bissinger and Cynthia Lai each had 11 rebounds for Chaminade (8-0).

Canyon 60, Highland 45--Erica Doyle had 18 points and Ashley Palmer added 14 points and eight rebounds for the Cowboys (7-3), who held the Bulldogs to two points in the first quarter of a nonleague game at Canyon.

Simi Valley 57, Oak Park 53--Teresa Cooper scored 25 points for the Pioneers in a nonleague victory at Simi Valley.

Sarah Bender had eight rebounds and six assists for the Pioneers (5-1), ranked No. 5 in the region.

El Camino Real 51, Louisville 37--Karen Shun scored 20 points for the Conquistadores in a nonleague victory at Louisville.

Bell-Jeff 48, Calabasas 30--Ana Coronado had 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Guards (3-4) in a Providence tournament semifinal victory.

Taylor Wolff of Calabasas (1-6) had 12 rebounds and six blocked shots.

The Guards will play Cantwell Sacred Heart at 7 tonight for the championship.

Carpinteria 45, Nordhoff 41--Sarah Grieve had 21 points, 19 rebounds and eight blocked shots for the Warriors in a victory at Carpinteria.

Claire Gardner scored 11 points for Nordhoff (4-4).

BOYS

San Fernando 76, Grant 71--Ramon Perry scored 34 points and Victor Chacon had 25 in a nonleague game to help the Tigers (3-5) upset the No. 6-ranked team in the region at San Fernando.

Chacon had 12 points in the fourth quarter when San Fernando outscored Grant, 24-18.

Derrick Green had 11 points, 10 rebounds and five steals and helped hold Mike Charleston of Grant (3-2) to 11 points.

Crescenta Valley 100, Poly 55--James Jenkins had 22 points, 17 rebounds and four blocked shots and the Falcons won in pool play at the Crescenta Valley tournament.

Jimmy Goffredo scored 19 points for No. 2 Crescenta Valley (8-0).

La Canada 79, La Salle 42--Joel Kim made six of seven three-point shots and scored 18 points for the Spartans in a nonleague victory at La Canada.

Billy Hofman scored 14 points, including four three-point baskets, and had six assists and four steals for the Spartans (5-1).

Westlake 71, San Marcos 48--Brandon Duplessie scored eight of his 19 points for the Warriors (3-2) in the third quarter of a nonleague victory at San Marcos.

Hart 61, El Camino Real 55--Dylan Patterson had 17 points and 10 rebounds, and the Indians outscored the Conquistadores by 10 points in the fourth quarter to pull out a nonleague victory at El Camino Real.

Paul Hanges, returning after a five-game absence because of an ankle injury, added 10 points for Hart (4-3).

L.A. Jordan 85, Canoga Park 64--Cecil Brown scored 17 of his 34 points for the Hunters (2-3) in the third quarter of a nonleague loss at Canoga Park.

The game ended with six minutes left when Coach Ralph Turner of Canoga Park was charged with a second technical foul and ejected.

City Section rules call for a game to be forfeited by a team when its head coach is ejected.

Hoover 61, Burroughs 53--Fred Akopyan scored 22 points for the Tornadoes (3-3) in a nonleague victory at Burroughs.

Santa Clara 56, Santa Maria St. Joseph 36--David Ramirez scored 18 points for the Saints in a nonleague victory at Santa Clara.

Tim Lajoie added 12 points for Santa Clara (4-5).

Buckley 76, Windward 43--Colin Ward-Heninger scored 20 points for the Griffins in a Liberty League victory at Windward.

David Gale had 12 points, 10 assists, nine rebounds and five steals for defending league champion Buckley (6-2).

Camarillo 61, Calabasas 42--Jared Jungwirth scored 14 points for the Scorpions (7-2) in a nonleague game at Calabasas.
