Passing records figure to be established this season at Thousand Oaks, where first-year Coach Mike Sanders has installed a one-back offense that features 6-5 junior quarterback Ben Olson.
Crucial to the attack will be senior running backs Tony Farrara and Brandon Lambert, who have shown improvement. The running back must contribute as a runner, blocker and receiver.

St. Bonaventure has lost its top returning receiver, senior Ian Johnson, to a knee injury suffered at practice. Sophomore Nick Pierson, the younger brother of USC fullback Chad Pierson, will take over as St. Bonaventure’s primary receiver.
The Seraphs are ranked No. 1 in the Division XI preseason poll. Their opening-game opponent, Paraclete, is No. 1 in Division XII.
