No. 1 Corona del Mar 10, Palos Verdes Peninsula 8--Corona del Mar (14-0) won eight out of nine doubles sets to wipe out a 7-2 deficit.

The Sea Kings No. 1 doubles team of Cameron Ball and Ryan Stockell and No. 2 team of Garrett Snyder and Randy Myers recorded sweeps.

In Serra League golf:

No. 4 Servite 186, No. 1 Santa Margarita 190--Nico Bollini had two birdies and finished with a one-under 35 for Servite (6-5, 3-0) at Los Coyotes.

Santa Margarita’s Andrew Price had two birdies and also shot a 35. The Eagles are 7-1, 2-1.

In Golden West League softball:

Westminster 6, Santa Ana 5--Nicole Moojen ended the game with a two-run, bases-loaded single in the seventh for the host Lions (5-7, 3-2). Michelle Paz hit a three-run sixth-inning homer for Santa Ana (7-7, 1-4).

In Sea View League boys’ swimming:

No. 2 Newport Harbor 132, Woodbridge 41--Aaron Peirsol, back from national championships, competed in his first high school meet of the season and won the 200 individual medley in a county-best time of 1 minute 47.04 seconds and the 100 backstroke (51.67). Teammate Ryan Lean, who also competed at the nationals, turned in a county-best time in the 500 freestyle (4:40.34).
