DIVISION VIII: Fontana Kaiser (12-1) vs. La Quinta (12-0-1) at Fontana High, 7:30 p.m.--Kaiser Coach Dick Bruich, who led Fontana High to Division I titles in 1987 and ‘89, returns to his old stomping grounds as the Cats make their first championship-game appearance in only their second varsity season. Kaiser has recorded four shutouts, including last week’s 30-0 semifinal victory over Riverside Ramona. They are led on offense by running back Allan Wade, who gained 115 yards against Ramona. La Quinta, the defending champion, features running back/defensive back Frederick Collins, who returned an interception 100 yards in a 21-7 semifinal victory over Barstow.
