Placed seventh in state Division II final and 20th in West region championships after winning small schools titles in Great American and Clovis invitationals.

Won Southern Section Division II title with a sophomore course record at Mt. San Antonio College and placed fifth in state championships.

Henry Hagenbuch Cate Sr.

Won Southern Section Division V title before finishing second in state meet and ninth in West region championships.

Luke Llamas CC Canyon Sr.

The runner of the year won the Southern Section Division I title, placed second in state meet and 12th in West region championships.

Erick Maldonado Don Lugo Jr.

Upset Llamas for the state Division I title after finishing second to his rival in the Southern Section meet. He placed 15th in West region championships.

Jameson Mora CC Canyon Sr.

The second runner in Canyon’s superb trio placed third in the Southern Section Division I finals, eighth in the state meet and 21st in the West region championships.

Michael Poe Etiwanda Jr.

Poe’s breakthrough season was highlighted by fourth-place finishes in the Division I races at the Southern Section and state championships.

Coach of the Year: Dave DeLong, Canyon Country Canyon

DeLong guided the Cowboys to runaway victories in the Division I races at the Southern Section and state championships and to a No. 2 national ranking.
