Share

Police are searching for two masked men who bound and robbed two employees early Monday as they closed an Irvine video store, officials said.

The employees, whom police would not identify, were not injured in the 1 a.m. robbery at Blockbuster in the 3900 block of Alton Parkway, said Irvine Police Lt. Dave Freedland.

The thieves ordered the two men to open the safe, then lie down in the bathroom, where their hands were duct-taped, Freedland said. The robbers took DVD players, computer programs, games and money before fleeing.
