2 Killed, 3 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash

Two people were killed and three injured on a Santa Clarita thoroughfare Monday when a pickup collided with one vehicle and crashed into the back of a big rig, authorities said.
The accident took place about 4 p.m. on San Fernando Road at Oak Ridge Drive.
The driver of the pickup, a man in his 20s, died at the hospital. His passenger, a woman in her 20s, died at the scene.
Three women in the other vehicle were hospitalized with minor injuries, officials said.
