2 Teenage Girls Held in Knife-Fight Death
Anaheim police have arrested two teenagers in connection with a knife fight that left one girl dead and another injured.
The suspects, whose names were withheld because of their age, were arrested Saturday on suspicion of the murder of Yolanda Acevedo, 17. She and a companion allegedly argued with two girls in an alley in the 1800 block of West Glencrest Street. Acevedo was stabbed, and her companion was hit in the head with a beer bottle, said Anaheim Police Sgt. Rick Martinez.
The suspects are being held at Orange County Juvenile Hall.
