Walter Reyes scored twice and Eric Gonzalez added a goal, all in the second half, for host Huntington Park (2-0). Carson is 0-1.

Locke 3, Hollywood 1
Jevon Bowen scored once and assisted on goals by Yovanny Barrientos and Ricardo Garcia for host Locke (2-0).

Roosevelt 1, L.A. Wilson 0
Antolin Gutierrez redirected a cross from Daniel Nieves to score in the 30th minute for visiting Roosevelt (2-0). Goalie Anthony Jimenez made eight saves for his second shutout for the Roughriders. Wilson is 0-2.

Julian Lopez had a goal and an assist and Adrian Lopez and Eric Blanco added goals for visiting Sylmar (1-0), which outshot University, 18-4. Spartan goalkeeper Irvin Rodriguez had three saves.

Host Venice improved to 1-0 with the victory over Birmingham in the season opener for both teams.

John Harris scored the winning goal with 20 minutes remaining to lead host El Camino (1-0) past Oaks Christian (0-1-1). Nick Assad also scored for El Camino, while Harrison Hill had Oaks Christian's goal.
