Tina Flores scored 18 points Keiana Scott added 14 points for host Jefferson in the season opener for both teams.

Dianna Harper made a lay-up with 12 seconds remaining to give visiting San Fernando the edge. Harper finished with 14 points, Ashley Orosco also netted 14 points and made eight out of nine free throws in the final period for the Tigers
