Andrew Wiggins is Gatorade athlete of the year

Andrew Wiggins, the 6-foot-7 forward from Huntington, W.V., considered the possible No. 1 pick in next year’s NBA draft, was named the Gatorade male athlete of the year during a banquet on Tuesday night in Hollywood. He’s set to play for Kansas this coming season.
Morgan Andrews, a girls’ soccer player from Milford, N.H., received the honor for female athlete of the year. She’s headed to Notre Dame.
