Baseball: JSerra’s Collin Quinn keeps picking up wins
No pitcher in Southern California has been making a bigger impact this season than senior Collin Quinn of JSerra.
The sidearmer is 8-0 with an 0.90 ERA.
He has helped the Lions take over first place in the Trinity League and earn a No. 1 ranking in Southern Section Division 1.
His consistency has been particularly impressive. He has seven walks and 47 strikeouts in 54 2/3 innings. No opponent has scored more than three runs off him in a game all season.
And his ability to make himself available at any time because of his arm motion is good news for JSerra come playoff time when he might be needed in an emergency relief situation.
“What more can you ask for?” JSerra Coach Brett Kay said.
