Baseball: Local players selected for USA 15U national team

There’s a large contingent of Southern California players on the USA 15U national team that will be coached by former Chatsworth Coach Tom Meusborn and assistant Matt LaCour from Harvard-Westlake.
After five days of tryouts in Cary, N.C., making the team were infielder Isaak Gutierrez from St. John Bosco, outfielder Christian Moya from Bishop Amat, pitcher Manuel Perez from Corona Centennial, infielder Logan Pouelsen from Huntington Beach, pitcher Nick Pratto from Mater Dei, catcher Blake Sabol from Aliso Niguel and infielder Chase Strumpf from JSerra.
The team is set to play a tournament in Colombia.
