Baseball: SoCal players help Emory reach Division III World Series
Emory University in Atlanta is headed back to the NCAA Division III World Series aided by a strong contingent of Southern California players.
Among the players are catcher Mitch Kerner (Viewpoint), infielder Dylan Eisner (Dana Hills), pitcher Tyler Sprague (Viewpoint), outfielder Brett Lake (Campbell Hall), pitcher Hans Hansen (Harvard-Westlake), pitcher Connor Dillman (Harvard-Westlake), outfielder Wes Peacock (Harvard-Westlake), infielder Thomas Sprague (Viewpoint), infielder Ben Vizary (Calabasas) and catcher Chris Young (Servite).
There are so many SoCal players that they probably talk about surfboards and In-N-Out burgers nonstop.
Dillman is 7-4 with a 3.93 ERA. Lake is hitting .354 with 25 RBIs. Eisner is batting .331.
