Boys’ basketball: Cathedral junior duo Lucas Siewert and Kobe Paras getting attention
6-foot-6 L.A. Cathedral junior will be impact player

Lucas Siewert is a 6-foot-10 junior from Brazil. Kobe Paras is a 6-6 junior from the Philippines. Both are attending L.A. Cathedral and gaining college scholarship offers.
Siewert, known for his three-point shooting, has offers from Utah State, California, Boston College, Tulsa, Texas Tech, Creighton and Arizona State. UCLA also has been starting to pay close attention.
Paras, known for his leaping and dunking skills, has offers from Arizona State, Fresno State, UC Irvine, California ant UT-Arlington.
Cathedral moves to a revamped Del Rey League that will also include Bishop Montgomery, Gardena Serra and Cantwell-Sacred Heart. Now that’s a tough four-team group.
