Boys’ basketball: Elijah Stewart is headed to USC

Elijah Stewart, the City Section player of the year in basketball from Westchester, has committed to USC, according to Scout.com.
The 6-foot-4 Stewart signed with Loyola Marymount in November but received his release after the school made a coaching change.
Oklahoma State and Cincinnati also had made strong bids to land Stewart.
