Boys’ basketball: Point guard Brian Beard transfers to Rancho Cucamonga
Gearing up for an expected battle with Etiwanda and Corona Centennial for Inland Empire basketball supremacy, Rancho Cucamonga has added senior point guard Brian Beard, a transfer from Orange Lutheran who also previously played for La Verne Lutheran. He averaged nearly 10 points a game last season for the Lancers.
Rancho Cucamonga shared the Baseline League championship last season with 1AA champion Etiwanda and returns standout guards Victor Joseph and Daylan Lawrence.
