Boys' basketball: Ron Artest III is set to play for Palisades

The powerful Western League, dominated by Fairfax and Westchester, could have another solid basketball team with Palisades gaining several new players who could make immediate contributions.

Among the newcomers is 6-foot-8 sophomore Ron Artest III, son of former Lakers player Metta World Peace, who's helping coach the Palisades girls' basketball team.
