Share

Lawyers representing St. Bonaventure, Oaks Christian, Damien and St. Lucy’s met with CIF Southern Section lawyers last week in their first meeting since a federal judge advised the parties to seek a settlement regarding their attempt to reverse the Southern Section decision to move the schools to the parochial area for releaguing beginning with the 2014-15 sports season.

Southern Section spokesman Thom Simmons confirmed the meeting but does not know if another meeting is scheduled.

Both sides are awaiting a ruling from the judge whether to dismiss the three lawsuits.
