Football: Dominguez has three runners above 1,000 yards rushing
Compton Dominguez (8-3) has advanced to a Southern Section Southeast Division quarterfinal playoff game against La Mirada (8-3) relying on its rushing attack.
There are three Dons with more than 1,000 yards rushing _ Henry Williams (1,234 yards, 13 TDs), Ione Niupulusu (1,075 yards, eight TDs) and Royce Anson (1,022 yards, 11 TDs).
La Mirada quarterback Tristan Meyer has 24 touchdown passes.
The game is set for 7 p.m. on Friday at Dominguez.
