Football: Mike Christensen is fired at Peninsula

Mike Christensen has been fired as football coach at Peninsula, the Daily Breeze reported.
Peninsula’s season came to a halt with three games left after the school decided the team did not have enough players to finish the season. Peninsula forfeited its final three games.
Christensen, a former head coach at Loyola, coached for three seasons at Peninsula.
