They love football in Texas, and Nike likes to sign apparel deals with top programs.
So it should come as no surprise that the Frisco Independent School District has reached agreement with Nike on a five-year, $1.74 million deal for products and discounts, according Sportsday.Dallasnews.com.
Frisco has eight varsity programs and they will be playing in the state’s first domed high school stadium on the opening week of the season this fall. The stadium is also the practice facility for the Dallas Cowboys.
Each football team will get uniforms from Nike.
The shoe companies are in competition in Texas. Under Armour recently signed a deal with another district in Texas.
